CLAMART SAXOPHONE ENSEMBLE

The Clamart Saxophone, a flexible ensemble made up of students from the saxophone class (professional orientation program-COP and preparatory program for higher studies-CPES) from the Conservatoire Henri Dutilleux, performs both locally and abroad.
It has an extensive repertoire of original works and transcriptions. Each year, the ensemble includes new transcriptions arranged by the students themselves: adaptations of orchestral works or concertos, which they perform at their final exams.

The « Henri Dutilleux » Clamart Conservatoire has created a new program of study that focuses on new musical languages. This unique course of study is oriented towards interpretation, multidisciplinary expression, and composition using new technologies. It is intended for performing musicians (PERFORMANCE) as well as composers (COMPOSITION) who wish to perfect their knowledge of the repertoires and composition. The master classes and the partnership with a guest ensemble provide students with the necessary experience and an ideal training environment for future studies or professional integration.
This program can be combined with a professional orientation program (COP) as well as with a preparatory program for higher studies (CPES).

BRETAGNE INTENATIONAL SAXOPHONE ACADEMY
Since 2012, the Bretagne International academy is organized in Rostrenen (small city in Britany - Western France).
An Academy with a human dimension
The human dimension of the Academy is given by:
- the participants' proximity with the Academy teachers
- proximity with the families hosting the participants
Consequently, and in order to ensure ideal studying conditions, the number of participants is limited.
The Bretagne International Saxophone Academy aims to give pre-professional students an intensive preparation for concerts, conservatoire entrance exams (CRD, CRR and CNSMDP) as well as for national and international competitions.
The Academy is open for all nationalities as well as for minor participants. Lessons are given in French, English, German, Finnish or Japanese.
An intensive and comprehensive programme
To guarantee the best studying conditions, each participant receives:
- a session of 3 lessons of one hour during 3 successive days with Alexandre SOUILLART
- a session of 3 lessons of one hour during 3 successive days with Joonatan RAUTIOLA
- daily rehearsals and lessons with piano, alternating (directed by the pianist Matthieu ACAR and the saxophonist Hiroe YASUI)
- a personal interview with the teachers upon arrival to the Academy
- free entrance to the events of Festival Klasik
- lessons with a specific theme (instrumental technique, practicing methods...)
- two public sessions to prepare competitions
